Ilan Shor: UK sanctions amuse me and do not affect me in any way

The chairman of the "SHOR" Party, Ilan Shor, claims that the UK's decision to apply sanctions against him does not affect him in any way, but on the contrary, makes him laugh. According to him, such actions repeatedly demonstrate that the end of Maia Sandu's regime is very near. At the same time, he regrets that these sanctions will not improve the life of citizens. The statement was made today by the leader of the "SHOR" Party, Ilan Shor, at a press conference.

"This decision makes me laugh and does not affect me in any way. Everybody knows that. Maia Sandu, instead of looking for solutions to Moldova's problems, going to the localities in the country, talking and helping people, she goes to the West and humiliates herself, gets on her knees, in order to get sanctions against me. If she can't give people bread, she gives them a circus arena. Any decision of this kind represents the last convulsions of the current dictatorial regime," said Ilan Shor.

In late October, the US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control imposed sanctions on Ilan Shor and others suspected of corruption. And Ilan Shor said at the time that these sanctions do not affect him. The leader of the "SHOR" Party also mentioned that Maia Sandu is terribly afraid of anti-government protests and understands that she is nearing her regime's downfall. In this context, Ilan Shor stressed that despite all Maia Sandu's actions against him, he will go all the way, he will remain faithful to his principles of providing citizens with a decent and prosperous life.
